This is Blobby, and they represent everything Theraplay stands for - all work, all play. While the former is unfortunately unavoidable, Blobby is here to help us navigate the latter. So lets break this philosophy down.

The Little Prince:Â Containers of all shapes and sizes
Inspired by one of my favorite books, we were first prompted to design a "container" for our chosen book and then subsequently scale that up to "contain" a reader and the book. The paper book holders are inspired by motifs and symbolism from the book; the tent structure aims to restore a sense of play and adventure, by using the unpredictable and ever-changing nature of natural light to accentuate the same. The small-scale prototypes consist of device-art related explorations to emulate natural light through a digital medium.
